I started learning cursive in third grade. Little nerdy Becca learning about all these loops that somehow make letters form words that were all connected. Ever since then, I was hooked. And I wasn't too shabby with writing in print in either. That school year, my teacher loved my handwriting so much, she asked me everyday to write down the agenda on the whiteboard. 

Fast forward, my love of writing never waned. In college, everyone had their fancy laptops, while I was still scribbling away with my pencil and paper. Then it to evolved into my work life, my lab notes were works of beauty. Which translated to learning about calligraphy, I am self-taught. I've watched a lot of YouTube, worn down and broken many nibs. Calligraphy is my therapy, it requires intention and attention.
